DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson and its cross-county rival Charlotte will host the 2015 Irish Creek Collegiate, April 11-12, at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, N.C.
The two-day 54-hole event will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Saturday morning on the Par 71, 7,099-yard layout. Following 36 holes on the opening day, Sunday's final round will also tee off at 8:30 a.m.
In addition to the co-hosts, the 14-team field will feature Akron, Appalachian State, East Carolina, Georgia State, Kennesaw State, McNeese State, UNCG, UNCW, North Florida, Richmond, South Florida, Tulsa and VCU.
Todd Eckstein and David Sargent continue to pace the Wildcats in scoring with 73.18 and 75.09 stroke averages, respectively.

Following this weekend's event, Davidson will take part in its first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship April 24-26 in Orlando, Fla.
