GASTONIA, N.C. – Both Todd Eckstein and David Sargent carded rounds of two-over 74 to lead the Davidson golf team on the final day of the 2015 Gary Koch Invitational hosted by Kentucky and Auburn.
In addition to the co-hosts, the challenging field featured Akron, Charleston Southern, Davidson, Elon, top-ranked Florida State, Kansas State, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, VCU, Western Carolina and Winthrop.
The 54-hole event was played on the Par 72, 7,042-yard Gaston Country Club layout.
Davidson, along with cross-county rival Charlotte, will host the 2015 Irish Creek Collegiate this weekend (April 11-12) in Kannapolis, N.C.
