'Cats Conclude Day One of Bridgestone Collegiate

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Jack Lang (73-72 = 145) paced Davidson on day one of the 2015 Bridgestone Golf Collegiate hosted by UNCG.
After 36 holes of play, the Wildcats sit just three strokes out of the Top-10 at 596 (300-296).
The two-day/54-hole event is being played on the Par 72, 7,245-yard Grandover Resort East Course layout.
Lang, a freshman from Lexington, Mass., is currently tied for 30th out of 84 competitors after posting five birdies and an eagle on the day.
Hoke Carlton (77-71 = 148), who is competing as an individual for the Wildcats, carded a season-low one-under 71 in the afternoon.
Purdue (277-266=543), which shot a tournament-record 266 in the second round, holds the top spot on the team leaderboard by four swings over North Carolina (275-272=547).
In addition, the Boilermakers' Austin Eoff (-13) leads individually with 18 holes to play.
