Burton Named A-10 Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior Luke Burton of the Davidson men's swimming and diving team has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Burton led the Wildcats with an impressive performance at the Richmond Duals. The senior captain went undefeated against George Mason, winning four individual events and helped two relay teams to first-place finishes.
The Kennesaw, Ga., native swam the first leg of the 400 freestyle and 400 medley relay squads, while he was victorious in the 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 200 freestyle.
The Wildcats will jump back into the water this weekend as they host Georgetown on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m.
