Yarbrough Takes Home A-10 Performer of the Week Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Freshman Carolina Yarbrough has garnered Atlantic 10 Women's Performer of the Week accolades, the conference announced Tuesday.
Yarbrough, who earned Rookie of the Week nods twice, takes home her first Performer of the Week award.
At the Royals XC Challenge, Yarbrough paced Davidson to a first place team finish with 56 total points. The Greensboro, N.C., native covered the 5K course in 17:43.6, a new season best, to earn a third-place finish individually.
Yarbrough and Davidson put fourth a strong showing against a competitive field, beating the 12th-ranked team in the southeast region, Coastal Carolina. The Wildcats turned in an average time of 18:28.60.
Davidson returns to action for the Atlantic 10 Championships, Saturday, Oct. 31, in Richmond, Va.
