DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson continues its three-game Atlantic 10 homestand Wednesday when the Wildcats play host for the first time to the Dayton Flyers in a noon tip-off as part of Education Day at John M. Belk Arena.
As part of Education Day, the Wildcats will welcome local schools Lake Norman Charter, Lake Norman Christian, Davidson Day and W.R. Odell Elementary. It is the first Education Day game Davidson has held since Jan. 12, 2012 when it played Western Carolina and welcomed five local schools.
The 'Cats are in a nine-game stretch that spans the entire month of January where they will play six of those games at home, including three straight to open the new year.
OPENING TIP: Quick Hits ...
•Davidson is in its 36th season and reached the 400-win mark, Nov. 20, at Gardner-Webb.
