After serving as an assistant coach at Davidson for the past three seasons, Tony Falvino has been named the head men's soccer coach at Greensboro College, as announced by his alma mater Thursday.
In addition to helping the Wildcats to a 10-2-6 mark in 2014, Falvino is the fifth Davidson men's soccer coach in the past several years to progress to a head coach.
"On behalf of Davidson soccer, I want to congratulate Tony for this honor becoming a head coach especially for his Alma Mater," said Davidson head coach Matt Spear. "Tony has been an important part of our team and program for the last three years, and he has made a positive impact on our recruitment, student-athlete development, and team success."
