Brown Joins Georgia College Volleyball Staff

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Former Davidson volleyball standout Caroline Brown '14 was named the new assistant coach at Georgia College it was announced Wednesday.
Brown will serve former Davidson volleyball assistant coach Gretchen Krumdieck, who was at Davidson from 2010-12 before starting the Bobcat's volleyball program one year ago. Georgia College plays in the Peach Belt Conference.
Hailing from El Paso, Texas, Brown made her mark on the Davidson volleyball program during her time on campus. The outside hitter ranks eighth all-time in program history with 1,260 career kills, ninth with 1,248 career digs and eighth with 124 career aces. Brown also became the fifth player in program history to eclipse both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.
Brown was a three-time All-Southern Conference second team honoree, earning the honor from 2011-13.
Brown graduated from Davidson in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Hispanic studies.
