Davidson Earns Spring CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Awards

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) honored the Davidson men's and women's swimming and diving teams amongst its Spring 2014 CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams supported by Nike Swim, it announced Thursday.
The Team Scholar All-American Award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the most recent semester. The Davidson women posted a 3.39 GPA, while the men posted a 3.13. Minnesota led all women's teams with a 3.86 GPA, while Yale led on the men's side with a 3.50.
The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester and again in the spring to recognize teams achieving a 3.0 in the semester coinciding with the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA/CCCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
