Northwestern Mutual Honors Swimming’s Ethan Levinson ‘14

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Earlier this year, Northwestern Mutual of North Charlotte honored Davidson swimmer Ethan Levinson '14 on conjunction with Davidson College Athletics as part of the Northwestern Mutual Student-Athlete Spotlight. Levinson was presented with a plaque during a men's basketball game.
Levinson recently wrapped up his career as a Wildcat with his name etched in the Davidson record books. He ranks in the top-10 all-time in the 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard IM and 400-yard IM. In addition, Levinson helped Davidson to a pair of CCSA titles during his tenure, finishing in fourth in the 100-yard backstroke twice and claiming a third-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke in 2011. He was also a member of the runner-up 400-yard medley relay in 2013.
In the classroom, Levinson boasts a 3.65 GPA in his senior year. A native of Charlotte, he is double majoring in History and English and is a member of the Phi Theta Alpha Historical Honor Society. Levinson is a CCSA All-Academic Team honoree helped the Wildcats earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Team designation.
