Wildcat Divers Compete at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Davidson divers finished the regular season with one last tune up at Clemson, competing against both the host Tigers as well as James Madison Saturday afternoon.
In the men's 1-meter competition, Brian McRae took first with a score of 228.80, with Max Feinstein coming in second at 170.55.
Kaliya Burton-Akright took eighth in the women's 1-meter competition, posting a score of 263.40. Karen Monuszko was 17th with a score of 212.60, followed by Ali DeMarco in 18th with 160.80 points. Summer Abiad took 19th with a score of 153.80.
Burton was also the Wildcats' top finisher in the 3-meter event, taking sixth with a score of 271.70. Monuszko finished 12th in the competitive field, posting a score of 239.80. Abiad took 16th with 194.65 points, while DeMarco was 17th with 156.55.
McRae was the top finisher in the men's 3-meter, scoring 277.70 points. Feinstein was the runner up in 133.30.
The divers will join the swim team at the CCSA Championships Feb. 19-21 in Knoxville, Tenn.
