DAVIDSON, N.C . — The second-place Wildcats look to keep hold of its postion in the Southern Conference standings when they play host to Samford Monday at 7 p.m. in John M. Belk Arena to finish out a quick two-game homestand in women's basketball.
Davidson (10-11, 7-3 SoCon) will be looking to regroup after a tough 76-62 defeat Saturday to SoCon-leader Chattanooga. The 'Cats are one game ahead of third-place Furman in the league standings and trail the Mocs by three for first place.
The Wildcats are in the midst of playing five games at home in a seven-game stretch, which started Saturday vs. Chattanooga.

•The Wildcats had their seven-game SoCon home winning streak snapped Saturday.
•Davidson is 5-5 at home and 4-1 in league games after a defeat to UTC Saturday.
