Wildcats Open Season at JDL Fast Track Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Davidson women's track and field team kicked off the 2014-15 indoor season Saturday, with a strong showing at the JDL Fast Track Invitational.
Jenna Boue had a strong performance in the opening event of the season. The sophomore completed the 500 meter dash crossing the line in a time of 1:24.46 to take third. The Columbus, Ohio, native posted a new personal best in the 300 meter run finishing the race in 45.82 to take 36th-place.
Anna Memoli placed 12th in the high jump with a 4-09.50 performance.
Stephanie Hautamma took fifth in the pole vault as the rookie cleared 3.10m (10-2.00). Molly Marshall and Megan Comstock also participated in the pole vault, finishing fifth and 10th respectively.
Following an extended break for the holidays, Davidson will return to the track Jan. 16-17 for the Johnson City Indoor Classic.
