DAVIDSON, N.C. — For the first time in program history, Davidson will play host to Southern California Monday night in the Wildcats' home opener at John M. Belk Arena. Start time is set for 7 p.m.
The contest Monday vs. the Trojans starts a four-game stretch in nine days before Davidson has a little Thanksgiving break. Three of those games will be at home as it hosts the Trjoans, Mount Saint Mary's (Md.) (Nov. 23) and High Point (Nov. 25, while taking to the road against Gardner-Webb (Nov. 20).
OPENING TIP: QUICK HITS
•Davidson hosts Southern California for its home opener Monday evening.
•Davidson is in its 36th season and is one win away from 400 in program history.
•The Wildcats are coming off a 16-16 season a year ago.

•USC shook off a cold shooting first half (24.3 percent) to hit 46.2 percent on 12-for-26 shooting in the second period.

The Trojans are coming off a 22-13 record last year, including an 11-7 record in Pac-12 play.
•During the preseason, the Trojans rolled to a 120-56 exhibition win against Concordia, Nov. 9.
