Fountain and Nianouris Qualify for NC Amateur Match Play

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Both Richard Fountain and Alex Nianouris of the Davidson men's golf team qualified for the North Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship of the Carolinas Golf Association Thursday afternoon.
The 4th annual event is being played on the Par 71, 6,304-yard Carolina Country Club layout.
Fountain (66-67) and Nianouris (69-64) finished tied for fourth in the stroke play portion with 36-hole totals of 133 (-9).
