DAVIDSON, N.C. - The non-conference baseball game between Davidson and Duke was rained out Tuesday evening at Wilson Field.
Following what was just RHP Nick Neitzel's third pitch of the game for Davidson, a lightning strike was detected in the vicinity, which forced a mandatory 30-minute delay. Shortly thereafter a steady rain began and did not relent, forcing cancelation of the game.
Davidson will host NC Central in its home finale Wednesday at 6 p.m.
