Volleyball Opens Spring Slate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson volleyball team recently traveled to Raleigh for the first of four dates on its spring schedule, which they embarked on last Saturday.
The Wildcats trekked to N.C. State to kick things off, taking on the Wolfpack on March 23.
“I think we showed a lot of team improvement,” said head coach Chris Willis.
The squad has four dates remaining on its spring calendar. On April 6, the 'Cats will travel to UNCG before heading to Wingate April 13. They will return to Belk Arena April 20 to host a match as part of a packed spring weekend in Davidson.
“We look forward to giving some competitive experience to every member of our team,” said Willis.
The 'Cats finished 11-16 overall and 7-9 in SoCon play in 2012. They will return 15 of 17 players in 2013, losing setter Ariel Ley and libero Molly Crenshaw to graduation.
