DAVIDSON, N.C. — Fresh off opening Southern Conference play with a strong 88-74 win Saturday vs. Wofford, the Davidson women's basketball team turns around and plays host to another SoCon foe in the Furman Paladins Monday evening at 7 p.m. in John M. Belk Arena.
The Wildcats are seeking to start league play 2-0 for the third straight year and seventh time in the past eight seasons overall. Davidson's best start in the SoCon was a 7-0 mark in the 2008-09 campaign.
Game Notes: Quick Hits ...
•Davidson continues its six-game homestand with its second SoCon game, hosting Furman Monday.
•The 'Cats are 2-1 so far on the homestand, defeating Gardner-Webb and Wofford, while falling to Rutgers.
•Davidson has won its past four straight in the series vs. the Paladins, including a sweep last year.
