CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Erin Osment finished in the top-100 to lead the Davidson women's cross country team to a 32nd-place finish at the 2013 NCAA Southeast Regional Meet, hosted by the University of Virginia Friday afternoon at Panorama Farms.
The Wildcats took 32nd in the meet with an average time of 23:27.52 for 835 points. The host Cavaliers won the meet, finishing with an average time of 20:41.78 for 57 points. William & Mary claimed second with 69 points (20:40.74) while N.C. State was fourth with 142 points (21:09.92).
Osment took 98th place with a time of 22.30.7 to pace the Wildcats. Jenny Fritz followed in 132nd place, running a 22:54.5. Hayden Bates ran a time of 23:42.1 for 194th place in her NCA debut, while Ali Cobb was 15 spots behind her in 209th after completing the course in 24:00.1.
Caroline Turner took 216th in 24:10.2 and was soon joined at the finish line by Sarah Paddon, who ran a time of 24:27.1 for 224th place. Brigid Behrens rounded out the group in 247th place, running the course in 25:16.0.
