DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson will play its first of two straight non-conference games when Bowling Green comes to Alumni Stadium on Homecoming Saturday for a 7 p.m. kick-off.
Looking to end a two-game slide, the Wildcats enter 6-6-1 overall, which includes a 3-2-1 mark on 1992 Team Field.
Despite outshooting its opponent in five straight contests, Davidson is just 2-3-0 dating back to a 2-1 victory at Georgia Southern on Sept. 29.
Sophomore Valeriy Sviderskiy continues to lead the Wildcats in scoring with six goals and 12 points, while fellow forward Max Pragnell paces the club with six assists to go along with a strike.
Bowling Green, which has played six double-overtime contests this season, enters 3-6-4 following a 1-0 (2OT) setback at Cleveland State Wednesday evening.
Anthony Grant is the Falcons' top scorer with three goals and an assist.
As a team, Bowling Green is allowing less than a goal per contest, but has only scored 10 through 13 games.
The two teams have met twice on the pitch with the Falcons holding a 1-0-1 edge in the series. In their last meeting, they played to a 2-2 draw on Sept. 6, 2010 at Alumni Stadium.
Davidson will travel to nationally-ranked Wake Forest Tuesday evening for a 7 p.m. contest.
