Ludwick Garners Second CCSA Honor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Davidson swimmer Dylan Ludwick garnered his second CCSA accolade of the season this week, earning Men's Swimmer of the Week honors for meets held Jan. 21-27, as announced by the league Thursday.
Ludwick led the Wildcats in a close effort at CCSA foe Gardner-Webb, picking up three wins in the squad's 107-98 loss to the Runnin' Bulldogs. He won the 1000-yard freestyle to start things off, clocking in at a season-best 9:42.05. Ludwick then set a new GWU pool record of 4:38.71 with a victory in the 500-yard freestyle. He would then close things out as a member of Davidson's winning 400-yard freestyle relay that swam a 3:10.59.
The honor is Ludwick's second of the season, as he previously earned the swimmer of the week nod on Nov. 14. It marks the sixth time this season the Wildcats' have claimed the accolade on the men's side, as teammate Drew Onken has earned it four times.
Davidson will host the CCSA Duals this Saturday at Cannon Pool in a 1 p.m. start.
