Men’s Soccer to Host Prospect ID Camp on February 23

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson men's soccer program will be hosting a Prospect ID Camp on February 23, 2013, on the campus of Davidson College. Registration is open now.

The camp will be led by Head Coach Matt Spear and Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Tony Falvino.
The fee will be $90 for the day and lunch will be included at the Davidson Vail Commons Cafeteria. A camp shirt is included as well. There is a $10 discount for those that register before February 16th.

The camp is open to high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have ambitions to play college soccer or seek high quality soccer training. The players will be challenged both mentally and physically throughout the competitive environment.

"We look forward to working with these motivated players,” said Spear. “Our goal is to give them an experience and perspective of the NCAA Division I college soccer student-athlete. So the instruction, topics, training sessions and match play will be exactly what we do with our own Davidson players. The participants will also spend time on campus away from our awesome soccer facilities, including walking around campus and eating in our excellent cafeteria. And we will spend time to discuss and answer their questions about the amazing opportunity of college soccer. I am certain the participants will leave the experience with much more knowledge, excitement, and drive for the game, and also for their path ahead."
