Men’s Golf Comes Home Ninth at Mason Rudolph Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the second consecutive day, John Skeadas III carded Davidson's lowest round as the Wildcats finished ninth at the 2012 Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt.
The 54-hole event was played on the Par 71, 7,100-yard Legends Club South Course layout.
Skeadas' finished with a three-day total of 218 (75-70-73) to place tied for 23rd out of 84 competitors.
Just two strokes separated Richard Fountain (221 / T-36th), Todd Eckstein (222 / T-40th) and Samuel Echikson (223 / T-47th), while David Sargent finished with a 233 (73-79-81).
Davidson (292-293-296=881) finished with its second Top-10 in as many events this fall.
The host Commodores captured the team title with a 54-hole total of 845 (-7), while Georgia State's Jonathan Grey won the individual crown at seven-under.
Davidson will enjoy a two-week break before heading to the Fire Invitational Oct. 8-9.
