McGue Named to College Sports Madness Preseason All-Conference Teams

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson senior midfielder Brian McGue was named to the College Sports Madness SoCon Preseason All-Conference Team, the website announced Saturday.
McGue was a first-team All-Southern Conference pick last season after anchoring the Wildcats' midfield and leading the team with 10 points on three goals and four assists.
The Dublin, Ohio native will serve as a team captain for a second consecutive year and look to guide Davidson over Clemson in the season opener Monday, August 27 at Alumni Stadium.
The 'Cats are off to a strong start in preseason play, earning 3-2 wins over VMI (Tuesday) and UNC Asheville (Saturday).
