DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson volleyball team will finish out the regular season with a pair of home matches and Senior Day celebration this weekend at Belk Arena. The 'Cats will host the Furman Paladins on Saturday in a 4 p.m. tilt before squaring off with the Wofford Terriers at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

VS. THE PALADINS
The Paladins lead the overall series 36-17 entering the 54th all-time meeting between the two teams since 1986. Furman won the previous meeting between the two teams back in September by a score of 3-0, and took both of last season's matches as well. The Wildcats last beat the Paladins in 2008 when they claimed a 3-1 win in Greenville, S.C.

SCOUTING FURMAN
Chandler Ambrester's 4.38 kills per set lead the way for the Paladins, who are 21-8 overall and 9-5 in SoCon action. Both Elle Ross and Natalie Braun average more than three digs per set at 3.92 and 3.70, respectively, while Bruan also leads the squad with 27 service aces. Caroline Adams has put up a team-high 87 blocks and with an attacking percentage of .371 proves to be the team's most accurate hitter.  Furman most recently split their weekend in Charleston, taking a 3-0 win at The Citadel before falling 3-2 to College of Charleston.

VS. THE TERRIERS
With Sunday marking the 36th meeting since 1989 between the squads, the Wildcats own the 29-6 series lead. Davidson also took the first meeting this season, sweeping the Terriers 3-0 in Spartanburg. Each team took their home match last season to split the series 1-1.

SCOUTING WOFFORD
The Terriers have put up a 15-12 overall mark and 5-9 conference record with two games remaining in the season (they will face league leader Georgia Southern on Saturday evening). Last weekend Wofford went 1-1 on a trip to Charleston, taking a 3-0 victory at The Citadel and falling 3-0 to CofC. Amanda Liquori is the team leader in kills for the Terriers with 2.97 per set, while Bekah Dorsey averages 7.87 assists per set. Reagan Styles has 41 aces this season and is also the team leader with 4.08 digs per set.

The Wildcats are the 10th-best team in the nation in digs per set, averaging 18.02. Libero Molly Crenshaw is the defensive leader, ranking 32nd in the NCAA in individual digs per set with 5.27.  The 'Cats are also atop the SoCon rankings in the digs category, with Crenshaw ranking fifth overall.
