Davidson Men’s Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson men's soccer team has earned the 2012 NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) Team Academic Award, as recently announced.
“This honor underlines the quality student athletes we attract and celebrate,” said Davidson head coach Matt Spear. “Our guys are ambitious on and off the pitch.”
The Team Academic Award is unique in that every team has the potential for receiving the award that carries with it the following benefits:
- Demonstrates a team's goal-centered focus on their academic priority.
- Recognizes and rewards all team members for commendable academic performance.
- Adds an attractive feature to team members' college resumes that reflects commitment, responsibility, and discipline.
