Murray is following up her SoCon Freshman of the Year campaign a season ago, with an even better second year. She leds the team in scoring at 15.1 points (2nd in the SoCon) and is shooting 40.8 percent (42-103) from behind the arc. The sophomore has clipped the 20-point mark six times this year, including a stretch of three straight games, while scoring in double figures in 17 of the 'Cats 20 games overall. She currently has a streak of 16 straight SoCon games where she has scored 10 or more points.
Murray was named the league's player of the week, Jan. 3, after averaging over 20 points in games at Radford and Wake Forest.
