DAVIDSON, N.C. — For a second straight season, both the Davidson men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named recipients of the Scholar All-America Team Award by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
In order to qualify a team must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. With a team GPA of 3.21, the Davidson women were one of 87 Division I teams and three CCSA members, along with Gardner-Webb and Georgia Southern, to receive the award. Of the 41 Division I men's teams honored, the 2011 CCSA Champions were one of just two from the CCSA, along with Gardner-Webb, to make the list with a team GPA of 3.09.
