The Wildcats will play the second game of the day, roughly 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one, Western Carolina vs. Georgia Southern.

... has Davidson leading 22-9 vs. CofC. The Wildcats' had won 13 straight at one time in the series. This year, both teams won their home games, with Davidson taking a 69-40 win and CofC earning a 61-52 victory.
Davidson and College of Charleston have met three times in SoCon Tournament play, with the 'Cats having won two of the three meetings. The Cougars took the last encounter, a 65-54 decision, in the 2009 quarterfinals. Davidson's two wins have come in 2005 (68-48) and 2000 (71-51).
Last Meeting...
… College of Charleston used an 11-0 run in the last two minutes to off-set a big night from Sophia Aleksandravicius as Davidson fell 61-52 on the road.

The 'Cats hurt themselves in the last two minutes when they turned the ball over three straight possessions after taking a 52-50 lead.
Tonia Gerty led CofC with 19 points, hitting 6-of-11 shots, including all three of her triples. College of Charleston went 9-of-16 overall from behind the arc after entering the night shooting just 24.3 percent on the season behind the three line.
Tournament History
Davidson has played in every round of the tournament at least once, here's a look at how the Wildcats have fared in each round:
First round: 2-3
Quarterfinals: 7-7
Semifinals: 1-6
Finals: 0-1
Davidson is still shooting for its first SoCon Tournament title. If the 'Cats can win three contests to make it to the championship game, it would mark the first time since the 1998-99 season that Davidson has made it to the finals when it fell to Appalachian State that year.
Up Next
Should the Wildcats advance, they would take on No. 1 seed Appalachian State on Friday, Mar. 4 with the start time coming 30 minutes after the first game of the day, which features the winner of Georgia Southern and Western Carolina taking on No. 2 seed Samford.
