Macnamara has been Davidson's leading central defender, earning a selection the All-Southern Conference team as a junior. He has scored twice this season and assisted on the game-tying goal against College of Charleston to secure home field advantage for the first round of the SoCon tournament. A two-year team captain, Macnamara has been a standout in the classroom and the community, earning academic all-district honors and finishing as one of 30 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.
