Skeadas Leads Davidson Golf at Wolfpack Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Davidson men's golf team sits ninth at 588 (298+290) through two rounds in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, led by junior John Skeadas, Monday on the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State.
Skeadas fired an even-par 71 and a two-over-par 73 to place in a tie for 12th individually and post the 'Cats' best score by three strokes. Freshman Todd Eckstein sits in a tie for 26th after firing a five-over 147 (74+73).
Sophomores Sam Echikson (35th place, 148) and Richard Fountain (39th place, 149) posted the team's top second-round scores with one-over-par 72's.
Memphis leads the 16-team field at 571 (288+283), three-over-par. Southern Conference member UNCG is fourth at 576 (295+281), while another SoCon member, Western Carolina, is one stroke ahead of Davidson at 587 (291+296), tied with Richmond for seventh place. Elon sits 12th at 595 (297+298).
Competition in the 54-hole tournament will conclude Tuesday on the 7,358-yard course.
