PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Davidson wrestling team fell to No. 20 Pittsburgh, 34-7 and Drexel, 26-21, but rallied with a 31-9 win over Millersville Sunday at the Pitt Duals in Fitzgerald Field House. Senior Vitaly Radsky led the Wildcats with a 3-0 record.

Radsky and junior Tyler Mullen were the lone Wildcats (2-3) to earn victories against the nationally-ranked Pitt (7-5) squad. Radsky earned a major decision at 141 pounds over Mike Tully, 9-1, while Mullen earned an overtime decision at 165 pounds over Ethan Headlee, 6-1.

Donnie Tasser (157 pounds) and Andy Vaughan (184 pounds) both earned pins to lead Pitt.

In their next match, the Wildcats opened an 18-3 lead over Drexel (5-9), but were unable to hang on. The Dragons fell into the early hole after forfeiting the 125- and 149-pound bouts, while Radsky (141) pinned Josh Yurasits. Shelton Mack earned a 7-5 decision at 133 pounds for Drexel's lone victory in the first four bouts.

Drexel went on to take all but the heavyweight bout for the come-from-behind win, though. Down 14-18, Shaun Fausey won by fall at 184 pounds to effectively put the match out of reach, as the 'Cats had to forfeit at 197 pounds and givea Drexel a 26-18 advantage. Wolff claimed the final bout for the Wildcats with a 5-2 decision.

Senior Alex Radsky earned a technical fall at 133 pounds, while Vitaly (141) earned a 9-5 decision over Mike Greck to cap his undefeated day.
