Team co-captain as a senior, she was a two-time All-Conference selection and MVP of the junior varsity team as a sophomore. A middle blocker from Atlanta, Ga., Sewell was a four-year letter winner at The Westminster School, where she was named All-Area and Georgia Senior Volleyball All-Star. She also received the Athlete for a Better World Award in 2009, when her team was the AA State Runner-Up.
