
Davidson Women's Basketball to Host WBCA PinkZone Day

DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson Women's basketball team will host their 4th annual WBCA Pink Zone Game for Breast Cancer Awareness on Saturday, February 5 when they host Western Carolina at 2 p.m in Belk Arena. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Fans attending the Men's Basketball game vs. Chattanooga later that evening will receive $1.00 admission to the game with their men's ticket.
Fans are encouraged to purchase a PinkZone event t-shirt at 'Cats on Main or the campus bookstore for just $12 the week leading up to the game. Shirts will also be on sale at the Monday, January 31 game against Elon at 7 p.m. Proceeds will directly benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
A raffle will be held at the game with prize items from Massage Envy of Mooresville, The Soda Shop, Ben & Jerry's, The Davidson Chocolate Company, Beauty Brands, Davidson Athletics and more, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
The WBCA began the WBCA Pink Zone™ in 2007 as an initiative to raise breast cancer awareness in women's basketball, on campuses and in communities. This is will be the fourth year in a row Davidson has hosted a WBCA Pink Zone game.
