Alex Radsky Leads Davidson at NC State Open

RALEIGH, N.C. – Senior Alex Radsky led Davidson wrestling with a 4-2 record for the at the NC State Open Sunday at Reynolds Coliseum.
Radsky (Worthington, Ohio) was relegated to the 133-pound consolation bracket after losing his opening match to Brian Bokoski, 6-3, but he went on to win his next four with a pin, a major decision and a pair of decisions, including a 6-1 decision over UNCG's Angel Garcia. UNCG's Eric Chandler ended Radsky's bid to reach the third-place match though, with an 11-8 decision.
Junior Tyler Mullen (Westminster, Md.) finished the day at 2-2, wrestling at 165 pounds. Mullen suffered an 11-3 major decision loss to UNCG's Travis Sheehy, but picked up a pair decisions over Kenny Lindsay of UNC Pembroke (7-1) and Joel Caudill of Campbell (3-2) before losing to Duke's David Henry, 3-1.
Sophomore Matt Zarth (125 pounds), sophomore Scott Ray (141), freshman Scott Patrick (174), sophomore Ike Crews (184) and senior Charlie Wolff (285) all went 1-2 for the day. Junior Jorge Estrada also competed but did not win either of his two matches.
Davidson will next host the Davidson Saturday December 4.
