Davidson College to Celebrate Youth Soccer Month in September

DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson men's soccer team will be participating in the Youth Soccer Month for September with a contest this Friday on the 25th at Alumni Stadium.
The men will take on South Carolina on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 pm. In addition, youth wearing their soccer jerseys will receive FREE ADMISSION to the game.
Prior to the men's game on the 25th vs. South Carolina, the men's head coach Matt Spear will be conducting a clinic for local area youth league coaches. Those participating in the clinic will receive details about Davidson's pre-game routine, as well as have the opportunity to have their questions answered. Coaches can register by emailing athleticsmarketing@davidson.edu.
Youth league refs will also receive a voucher for a free ticket to the Sept. 25 game as a way to recognize the efforts they put forth for youth soccer in the area.
Tickets are available at DavidsonWildcats.com or by calling 1.800.768.CATS for men's home games, while admission is free for the general public at any women's soccer home games.
