DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson Wildcats dropped a pair of dual meet decisions to the College of William & Mary Friday night at Cannon Natatorium.
The Tribe defeated the Wildcat men (0-4), 131-87 and the Wildcat women (0-4), 149-90.
Sophomore Geoffrey Peitz and freshman Drew Onken each won a pair of individual titles to highlight the Wildcat men's performance. Peitz won the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.45 and returned to win the 200 fly with a time of 1:57.62. Onken won the 200 back with a time of 1:54.87 and the 200 breast with a time of 2:08.07.
Junior Bryan Droll was also an individual event winner for the Wildcat men, finishing first in the 50 free with a time of 21.96 for his first dual meet victory.
For the Wildcat women, junior Emily Castle swam just seconds off the Davidson record with a first-place time of 2:08.13 in the 200 fly.
Kelsey Chisholm placed first on the 1-meter with a score of 227.25 and finished second to teammate Linnea Buttermore on the 3-meter with a score of 210.75. Buttermore won the event with a score of 212.63.
The Wildcats will return to action with a 2 p.m. dual meet at CCSA-foe College of Charleston.
