Peele Named SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. — After being named Mizuno Wildcat Classic Tournament MVP this weekend, Davidson volleyball player Sarabeth Peele has been named the SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of September 10, as announced by the league.
Peele, who sports a 3.76 GPA, was named MVP of the Wildcat Classic after helping the Wildcats to a 2-1 record as tournament host. The San Antonio, Texas native finished the tournament with 50 kills and hit .260.
Also nominated for this week's award was Appalachian State men's soccer player Antonio Harley, College of Charleston men's soccer player Matt Morris, Elon volleyball player Sarah Schermerhorn, Furman football player Jordan Sorrells, Georgia Southern men's golfer Spencer Fulford, UNC Greensboro men's soccer player Chad Dickerson, Samford football player Ty Levie, Chattanooga volleyball player Jessica Scott and Western Carolina women's soccer player Nikki Collins.
