DAVIDSON, N.C. — Lauren Calve, Tyler Kirkland, Liz Luckey and Catherine Ransone have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's 2007 National Academic Squad.
Ransone was named to the squad for four consecutive years, while juniors Calve and Kirkland each made their third straight appearance in as many opportunities. Sophomore Liz Luckey was named to the team for a second time.
The National Academic Squad program recognizes those collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year.
