Wildcats to Open SoCon Tournament in Matchup with Samford

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson Wildcats, the fourth seed in the Southern division, will open SoCon Volleyball Tournament play with a 12:30 p.m. match against Samford, the top seed in the Northern division, Friday at UNC Greensboro's Fleming Gym.
In its first season as a member of the SoCon, Samford earned the top seed in the North behind the strength of a 27-4 overall record and 16-2 league mark. Davidson earned the South's fourth seed with a 12-19 overall record and a 7-11 mark in SoCon action.
Furman and Chattanooga will open the tournament at 10 a.m., followed by Samford and Davidson at 12:30 p.m.. The afternoon session begins at 4:30 p.m. with College of Charleston and Elon, and host Greensboro and Georgia Southern play the nightcap at 7 p.m.
SoCon.TV will broadcast all matches, which are available to all subscribers with a SoCon Volleyball package, Fall Season package or annual package. Day passes are also available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the following prices:
Quarterfinals: Friday, November 21 - $9.95
Semifinals: Saturday, November 22 - $9.95
Final: Sunday, November 23 - $5.95
