DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson Wildcats men's and women's swimming teams were two of the 125 teams to earn Academic All-America distinction from the College Swim Coaches Association of America for the 2007-08 academic year.

The Wildcat men, runners-up at for the CCSA championship on the men's side, earned the honors with a team GPA of 3.070.
“We encourage the team to take pride in their academic pursuits, and recognition of their accomplishments in the classroom is pleasing,” head coach John Young said. “To be among the top achieving schools, as measured by GPA, in the country is a great honor. I'm proud of our students and anticipate a continual ascent of these rankings.”
