Men's Soccer Releases Its Spring Schedule

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson men's soccer team will utilize each of the five competition dates provided by the NCAA during their spring training as announced by Head Coach Matt Spear.
The 2007 spring slate includes a pair of matches with 2006 NCAA Tournament participants Clemson and Gardner-Webb, as well as a date with 2006 USL Pro National Champions, the Charlotte Eagles.
"Our spring matches are a crucial opportunity to set a foundation for our 2007 fall regular season matches," commented Spear. "These competition opportunities afford important experience in particular for our younger players."

Feb. 24 Gardner- Webb
March 18 Belmont-Abbey
March 21 at Charlotte
March 28 Charlotte Eagles
March 31 vs. Clemson*
March 31 at Winthrop*
BOLD denotes home matches
* Both games will be 70 minutes in duration and played at a neutral site in Rock Hill, S.C., as a part of the Manchester Cup multi-team showcase.
