
With Pair of Titles, Frantz Named CCSA Men's Swimmer of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. — After winning a pair of titles against East Carolina on Saturday, junior Scott Frantz has been selected Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Men's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Oct. 15, as announced by the league today.
Frantz won a pair of titles as the Wildcat women's and men's swimming and diving teams opened the 2007-08 season with a dual meet against the Pirates at Cannon Natatorium. He finished first in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 53.05 seconds and earned another first-place finish in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 1:56.89.
The Wildcat swimming and diving teams will return to action this Saturday, as they travel to Atlanta, Ga., for a 1 p.m. dual meet at Emory.
