2023-24 (Senior): Went 12-18 with a 4-4 record in SoCon duals... Led the team in four-point near falls (4) and reversals (5)... Was second on the team with 22 escapes... Earned a comeback win by pin over Gardner-Webb's Peyton McComas... Also got a pin on senior day over Queens... Picked up SoCon dual wins over Chattanooga, VMI, and Presbyterian.
2022-23 (Junior): Finished his junior season with a 9-7 record... Finished fourth at the SoCon Championships in the 285 pound weight class... Began his junior season with four straight wins in dual action over Lock Haven (12/1/22), Queens (12/16/22), Presbyterian (12/16/22), and Brown (1/5/23)... Defeated Abraham Preston of Gardner-Webb and Logan Andrew of Chattanooga to earn a spot in the SoCon third place match.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Finished the season 7-7 at heavyweight... Started off the season strong with four straight wins at the Southeast Open... Posted three falls over Jacob Noon of Tiffin, Jacob Barlow and Jacob Sartorio, both of App State... Also earned a dual win over Ramses Montalvo of George Mason (12/19/21).
2020-21 (Freshman):
Posted a 2-2 record at heavyweight… Registered a first frame fall over Brian Jackson of VMI (1/23) … Pinned Gardner-Webb’s Gabriel Picket in under three minutes (1/30).
Before Davidson: A 2020 graduate of Woodmont High School … Wrestled for coach Tim Sexton … Tabbed the Region Wrestler of the Year (2020) … Was a two-time State Champion and All-State grappler (2019-20) … Was a three-time All-County (2017-20) and four-time All-Region wrestler (2016-20) … Helped lead his team to a Regional Title (2019) and Regional Runner-Up (2016) … Owns Woodmont High’s most wins record (212) and most pins (159) … Served as a team captain (2016-20) … Was also an All-State football player.
