Allison Drutchas, who just finished up her four-year playing career at Davidson last year, begins her first year as an assistant coach for head coach Greg Ashton.
Drutchas had an oustanding career for the Wildcat women's soccer program as you can find her highlights below:
2010: Finished out Wildcat career with outstanding senior campaign, setting career highs in assists (9) and points (15) ... led the team in both categories, with the nine assists ranking second in the SoCon and tied for the second-most in a Wildcat single-season ... garnered team's MVP honors ... named to the All-SoCon Second Team after being a preseason all-league pick ... garnered ESPN/CoSIDA All-District III First Team honors ... named to the All-SoCon Academic Team for third straight season ... started all 20 games in final season ... picked up game-winning goals in wins over UNC Wilmington and College of Charleston ... added an assist vs. CofC for a career-best three points ... four times had back-to-back assist games ... put 25 shots on goal and was 2-for-3 on penalty kicks ... finished career with six goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 81 games, 75 of those being starts.
2009: Had a breakout junior campaign with career bests in starts (21), shots (52), goals (3) and points (8) ... one of eight 'Cats to start over 20 games ... tallied first career goal in a 5-0 win over Francis Marion, Sept. 6 ... assisted on the game-winner in a 1-0 win at High Point, Sept. 13 ... helped lead the 'Cats to a 1-0 SoCon finals win over College of Charleston in double overtime by assisting on the game-winner in the 198th minute ... also netted goals in wins vs. Wofford and at Chattanooga during the season ... hit the Wildcats' lone penalty kick in a 4-2 win at Chattanooga ... named to Academic All-SoCon team second year in a row.
2008: Followed up freshman season with another solid campaign in second season with three assists, while starting 15 of 19 games ... three assists were tied for second-best on the team ... first assist of season helped the Wildcats tie Kennesaw State 1-1 at the LQ Cup ... recorded single assists in wins over Chattanooga and The Citadel ... named to the Academic All-SoCon team.
2007: Started all but one game in freshman campaign … four assists were second-best on the team … first collegiate point came on an assist in the Wildcats' 3-0 win over LSU … also tallied assists against The Citadel, Francis Marion and Wofford.
