Cross Country: Last season, came in 16th (27:08) in Wildcats’ season opening race at the Winthrop Invitational … had a personal-best time of 25:47 at the Paul Short Invitational … recorded a 21st place finish (26:12) at the 2006 SoCon XC Championships ... in 2006, finished 13th (32:17.2) at the Charlotte Relays to help the Wildcats to a third-place finish ... finished 16th at the Winthrop Invitational (27:08) and ranked second on the team at the Paul Short Invitational (25:47) ... Morris improved on his 2005 time by running second on the team at the SoCon Outdoor Championships (26:12.75) ... a consistent scorer for the cross country squad as a sophomore earned the Fred Borch Award for cross country in 2005 tallied personal-best 8K time at the Paul Short Run (26:10) part of the record setting 4x1500 relay team that finished with a school best time of 16:39.06 at the Clemson Relays registered season-best time in the 5000-meter (15:17.63) at the SoCon Outdoor Championship also an Academic All-SoCon honoree this past year.
