2018-19 (Junior): Made an impact in his first Davidson season • Excelled in the 200 freestyle, winning the event at multiple duals and at the Bucknell Invitational in November • Placed third in the 200 free at the Atlantic 10 championship with a time of 1:38.29, which also put him fifth on the program’s all-time performers list • Also at A-10s, swam on the school record 800 free relay team that finished second • Finished seventh in the A-10 in the 100 and 500 free and also swam on the fourth-place 400 free relay team and the seventh-place 200 free relay • Joined the program’s all-time performers list in the 100 free (44.98, fourth) and 500 free (4:29.32, seventh).
Before Davidson: Swam two seasons at Division III Denison University in Ohio, where he helped the team win the 2016 national title • Was part of Denison's national title-winning 800 freestyle relay team • Named an All-American in four events • Voted Denison's Most Improved Swimmer in 2017 • Named to the 2017 D3 National Team • At Fossil Ridge High, led the team to its first 5A state championship and served as a team captain • Named the 2015 Front Range League Swimmer of the Year • Earned four all-conference and three Academic All-America honors • Swam club for Loveland Swim Club • Qualified for 2014 Junior Nationals and 2017 U.S. Open.
