2021-22 (Senior): Reached the consolation final of the 200 back at the Atlantic 10 Championships • Placed fourth in the 200 back at the Bucknell Invitational • Also at Bucknell, reached the C finals of the 100 back and 200 free.
2020-21 (Junior): Took fourth in the 200 back (1:45.92) at the A-10 Championships • Also placed fifth at A-10s with the 800 free relay (1:45.92) • Finished 10th in the 100 back (49.36) • Won the 200 back against William & Mary.
2019-20 (Sophomore): Won the 200 back consolation final at the A-10 Championships (1:47.06) • Also competed in the 400 IM and 100 back at A-10s • At the Bucknell Invitational, took third in the 200 back (1:48.30) and seventh in the 100 back (50.89) • Also at Bucknell, took sixth with the 400 medley relay, 10th in the 400 IM and reached the 200 IM finals • Won the 200 back against Gardner-Webb and Old Dominion.
2018-19 (Freshman): Finished seventh in the A-10 in the 200 backstroke • His time of 1:47.57 also put him third on the program’s all-time performers list • Swam a preliminary time of 50.93 in the 100 back to move into 10th on the Davidson list • Posted 200 back wins against George Mason, VMI, Old Dominion and Gardner-Webb and won the 100 back against VMI • In November, placed third overall in the 200 back at the Bucknell Invitational (1:50.21) • Also reached the B finals of the 100 back at Bucknell.
Before Davidson: An all-state performer at Fort Mill High • Placed second in the 100 backstroke at the 2017 S.C. High School League championships • Helped team to five regional titles • Owns school record in the 100 back (51.81) and was part of school record 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays • Swam club for RAYS • Placed fifth at YMCA Nationals • USA Swimming All-American • Winter Junior National qualifier.
Personal: Son of Sean and Joan Corkery • Born July 10, 2000 • Brother, Jack, plays baseball at Swarthmore College • Plans to study computer science.
