2021-22 (Senior): Reached the consolation finals of the 200 and 500 free events at the Atlantic 10 Championships • Also at A-10s, swam with the fifth-place 800 free relay and placed 12th in the 1,650 free • Took third in the 500 free at the Bucknell Invitational • Also at Bucknell, took 10th in the 1,650 free, reached the B final in the 200 free and swam with the fourth-place 800 free relay.
2020-21 (Junior): Placed eighth in the 1,650 free (15:54.64) at the A-10 Championships • Took 11th in the 500 free (4:32.92) and also reached the 200 free finals • Won the 500 and 1,000 free against William & Mary • Swam on the winning 400 free relay against UNCW.
2019-20 (Sophomore): Placed 13th in the 500 free (4:31.69) and 1,650 free (15:57.38) at the A-10 Championships • Reached the Bucknell Invitational finals of the 200 free, 500 free, 1,650 free and 200 fly, placing ninth in the 1,650 • Swam to 10th at Bucknell with the 800 free relay.
2018-19 (Freshman): Swam to 12th in the 1,650 freestyle at the A-10 championships • His time of 16:02.56 put him 10th on the program’s all-time performers list • Additionally, his 1,000 free time of 9:42.41 has him 10th at Davidson • At the Bucknell Invitational in November, finished 11th in the 1,650 and reached the C finals of the 200 butterfly and the 500 free • Also swam on the 14th-place 800 free relay team at Bucknell.
Before Davidson: A three-time district champion and two-year captain at Gettysburg Area High • Twice named team MVP • Set program records in the 200 and 500 freestyles • Also part of school record relays in the 200 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 freestyle • Sportsmanship award winner • Competed in club ranks for the Gettysburg Sharks.
Personal: Son of Stephen and Jill Herr • Born Sept. 17, 1999 • Has a brother, Joshua • Mother swam at Towson • Plans to major in film and media studies.
