2018-19 (Junior): Reached the B finals of the 200 butterfly at the Atlantic 10 championships • Swam on the Wildcats’ 400 medley relay team that placed ninth at the Bucknell Invitational in November • Also at Bucknell, reached the C finals in the 100 butterfly and the 200 individual medley.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Competed in all nine meets, specializing in butterfly… finished 15thoverall in the 100 fly at the Atlantic 10 Championships, ranking sixth on the all-time performance list (49.96)… recorded two Top 10 finishes at TPI Invite and finished in the top 20 in three other events.
2016-17 (Freshman): Competed in all eight meets, mostly in the butterfly or breaststroke… won the 200 fly in the Gardner-Webb dual meet (1:56.41)… Ranked 10th all-time in the 100 fly after his 50.56 clip and 8th in the 200 fly (1:51.28) at the A-10 Championships.
Before Davidson: Has swam for ten seasons under Coach Jack Bierie and earned varsity letters at Menchville High from 2013-2016, where he served as captain for the 2015 and 2016 seasons... was a three-time Virginia VHSL All-State selection (2014, 2015, 2016)... Led the Monarchs to VHSL Boys State and Conference Championships his senior year.
Personal: Son of Ross and Sarah Younger... Born March 26, 1998... Has three siblings- Kade, Cole, Delaney... Plans to study mathematics.
